THE DAVETIVE EXPERIENCE
A static file or an event page?
An image or PDF keeps the information inside a file. If the time changes, you usually need to send a replacement. A linked page can be updated at the same address and may include directions, a schedule and an attendance form.
Features differ between designs and services. Test a real preview and confirm the editing options before buying; an attractive opening image does not tell you how the rest of the page works.
THE DAVETIVE EXPERIENCE
Start with the questions guests will ask
Include names, date, start time, the venue's full name and its address. If the ceremony and reception are separate, label each time and location. For example, a ceremony at 4 pm and dinner at 7 pm need more than two times: guests need to know where each happens.
If you ask for a response, explain how and by when. Choose a deadline that gives you time to confirm numbers with the venue rather than copying an arbitrary date.
THE DAVETIVE EXPERIENCE
Leave room for an offline alternative
A digital link will not suit every guest. A phone call or printed card can sit alongside the online invitation. Keep the essential details consistent across both.
Also consider who should see a home address or personal photos. A page excluded from search results is not necessarily password protected; someone receiving the link may pass it on.
THE DAVETIVE EXPERIENCE
Prepare, preview, then share
Gather confirmed information before choosing the design. Once your Davetive account is set up, edit supported content in the dashboard and hide sections you do not need. Read the page on a phone, try directions, and share the published link with a personal note. Send important changes directly as well as updating the page.
Your questions, answered
Do guests need to install anything?
Davetive invitations open in a web browser.
Does updating the page send a notification?
No automatic notification is implied. Tell guests directly about important changes.
